My name is Lerio Oaferina, and I am a proud Naturopath Practitioner from San Nicolas, Iriga City, Camarines Sur.
My journey to becoming a healthcare professional is a testament to the power of perseverance, passion, and the right guidance.
A Humble Beginning
In 2011, I embarked on my educational journey at the Philippine Institute of Naturopathic Sciences (PINS), Under the mentorship of Dra. Elizabeth Micaller, I began studying Iridology, followed by Sclerology and Illness to Wellness. As I applied my knowledge in practice, I witnessed the transformative power of naturopathy in the lives of my patients.
Balancing family responsibilities, work, and studies was not easy. As a single parent of three, I had to divide my time carefully. Despite the challenges, my passion for helping others drove me forward. I recall sharing my concerns with Dra. Micaller, feeling uncertain about completing my studies due to my age. Her unwavering encouragement and positivity gave me the strength to persevere.
A Dream Realized
Today, I am proud to own and operate my wellness hub, a far cry from the small rented room where I first began. This achievement would not have been possible without the foundation laid by PINS and the guidance of Dra. Micaller. Her mentorship and the education I received have empowered me to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those I serve.
I extend my deepest gratitude to Dra. Elizabeth Micaller and the Philippine Institute of Naturopathic Sciences for believing in me and providing me with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in my career. Your impact on my life and the lives of countless others is immeasurable.
As I continue on my journey, I remain committed to ongoing education and growth. I am eager to complete my remaining units and earn my degree as a Certified Naturopath Practitioner. This achievement will not only be a personal triumph but also a testament to the power of dedication and hard work.
